Raneim Nabil Hossni Mohamed

Raneim is a PhD candidate at the Department of Medical Imaging at Radboud University Medical Center, and an Advanced X-ray Tomographic Imaging (AXTI) lab team member.

Raneim received a BSc in Biomedical Engineering from Florida Tech in 2020. In 2022, she obtained a Joint MSc in Medical Imaging and Applications from University of Girona (Spain), UNICAS (Italy), and University of Bourgogne (France). She conducted her MSc thesis at AGFA Radiology Solutions in Belgium. In March 2023, Raneim joined the AXTI group as a PhD candidate under the supervision of Ioannis Sechopoulos. Her research project is part of the BosomShield project, which focuses on the development of deep learning-based algorithm to predict breast cancer recurrence through the evolutionary quantification of breast density.
