Ou Li

Ou Li is a PhD candidate at the Department of Medical Imaging at Radboud University Medical Center, and a Advanced X-ray Tomographic Imaging Group (AXTI) lab team member.

Ou Li graduated in Applied Mathematics from Tufts University in 2021. In June 2024, he received his Master of Science in Scientific Computing from Heidelberg University. His thesis titled “Deep Learning-Based Cardiac Motion Compensation in X-Ray Computed Tomography” was conducted in the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ). In February 2025, he joined the Advanced X-ray Tomographic Imaging Lab at the Department of Medical Imaging as a PhD student. Supervised by Koen Michielsen and Ioannis Sechopoulos, his research is centered around the novel photon counting detector.
