Maranda Haenen is a PhD candidate at both the Department of Medical Imaging at Radboud University Medical Center and Department of Plastic Surgery at Jeroen Bosch Hospital, and Advanced X-ray Tomographic Imaging Group (AXTI) lab team member.
She graduated in April 2023, when she obtained her MSc degree in Technical Medicine at the University of Twente in Enschede. Her thesis was on the use of dynamic CT imaging for diagnosing wrist-injuries. This thesis was part of a larger project called DYNAMIC. After graduating, she started her PhD in May 2023 under supervision of Ioannis Sechopoulos, Stefan Hummelink and Brigitte van der Heijden. During her PhD she continues working on the DYNAMIC project.
