Alma Hoxhaj
PhD candidate
Alma Hoxhaj is a PhD candidate at the department of Medical Imaging of Radboud university medical center. She is a team member of the Breast Imaging Group (BIG) and a co-associate of the AXTI lab.
She graduated in Italy from the medical university of Siena in March 2019, when she obtained her Medical Doctor degree. In January 2020 she started her PhD under the supervision of Ritse Mann and Ioannis Sechopoulos. Her main research topic focuses on the clinical evaluation of Contrast Enhanced Breast CT (CEBCT), a novel 3D imaging technique, in women recalled from screening for calcifications and on its accuracy in pre-operative staging of breast cancer.
